Consistent with Federal Research Guidelines, GCU requires all researchers to successfully obtain research ethics certification prior to initiating their IRB application for approval to conduct human research. Students, faculty, and staff will receive five-year research ethics certification upon successful completion of pre-defined courses hosted by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
